Take Your Child to the Library Day

Children and their grown-ups can join us to play, go on a scavenger hunt, create a craft, and enjoy freebies. Courtesy of New York Life, parents will also have the opportunity to obtain an identification card that will include their child’s fingerprint, photo and other vital information. Your child's information will be given directly to you and not be saved by the company. While you’re here, don't forget to sign up for our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Club. This free program encourages you to read 1,000 books with your child before he or she enters school – a goal that experts say children need to help them learn to read.
